About Sorted
We’re Matt and Lauren, a family-run house clearance team based in Stockport. We started Sorted because we saw how the industry treats people at their most vulnerable – and knew we could do better.
The North West, Sorted
We’re born and bred Mancunians. We know the terraced streets of Stockport, the semis of Cheadle, the flats of the city centre. Every property is different, and every clearance needs a personal touch.
Sorted House Clearance is a trading name of Get Clear Space Ltd. Same team, same values, same commitment to doing things properly – just with a name that says exactly what we do.
Why “Sorted”?
In Manchester, “sorted” means handled. Taken care of. Done properly. It’s what we do. When you call us, your clearance is sorted – no stress, no hassle, no worries. Just honest, hard-working people who turn up when they say they will and do the job right.
The name also nods to the city that made us. Manchester’s always been about getting things done – from the factories that started the industrial revolution to the music that changed the world. We like to think we carry a bit of that spirit. No fuss, no pretence, just graft.
What We Actually Do
Whether it’s a full house clearance after a bereavement, an end-of-tenancy clear-out for a landlord, or you just need to reclaim your spare room – we turn up, we work hard, and we leave the place clean. No cutting corners, no dumping stuff in skips, no surprises on the invoice.
Everything we clear is sorted – recycled, donated, or responsibly disposed of. We hold a full Environment Agency waste carrier licence, and every job comes with proper waste transfer notes.
What We Stand For
Honesty
Upfront pricing, no hidden fees. If something can be donated or sold, we’ll tell you – we don’t just charge to throw it away.
Respect
We clear homes, not just houses. We work around your schedule, handle belongings with care, and never forget there’s a person behind every job.
Reliability
When we say we’ll be there at 9am, we’re there at 9am. When we say it’ll be finished by Friday, it’s finished by Friday.
